Has anyone squeezed 245's on their car? Posted by ryan [Email] (#2222) [Profile/Gallery] (more from ryan) on Sat, 20 Oct 2012 17:04:43 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have an '02 Viggen, and have the 17x8 BBS RK's, so I know for a fact that the wheels are in the recommended width range for any 245 width tire.
I have this exact setup (245/40/17) and have confirmed that everything is fine in the rear (I flexed the suspension by backing up on a car ramp on just that side until I had full compression, and did a full visual).
I just don't know about the front, because of course I would have to do full compression, lock to lock, in order to confirm. I can, and probably will, do it if no one can confirm this will fit. But still, I would love to hear someone else's experience.
I'm just a sucker for cramming as much rubber in the wheel wells as I can get away with!
TIA
