Yes, the spring back is inside the electric ignition switch.
You have to remove the center console and air duct and if auto, loosen and turn the shifter box sideways to get to the switch.
The stick shift is more cumbersome and the best way is to loosen the shifter shaft out by transmission and pull the whole shifter box out of car and work on a bench. but then you have to know how to align the shifter mechanism again.
Not a super easy job in any of the two cases so it all depends on how much wrenching you have done if you want to tackle it yourself.
