1995 900 convertible rear panel re-install Posted by ottocycle [Email] (#217) [Profile/Gallery] (more from ottocycle) on Thu, 8 Nov 2012 21:19:48 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
About 3 months ago I pulled the LHS rear inside trim off my 95 900 convertible (to fix a speaker and an annoying rattle). But now 3 months later, I can't quite remember the subtleties of reinstalling the trim pieces. I know I know - there's only about 5 bits! But I don't see very well, and I don't want to mess up the top.
It's the part that nestles around the base of the the top main pillar that has me dumb. There is a thin sharp little metal frame bit that runs back to the seat back and a hinged plastic part (that looks fragile) which goes around the foot of the top main pillar. I'd be most grateful if any anyone can share directions, experience or a drawing, please. I have tried looking at the passenger's side (which I have not demolished), but I can't see enough to get it figured out. Many thanks! O C
