I have seen people put 9000 or 900 short blocks in these cars, I saw a guy with a weird franken 98? 900 with an engine from what looked like a 91 900 it had a red di and map sensor, it would not idle correctly, he had put some plat+4 plugs in it and i told him to maybe put the proper plugs in it, I hope it runs better now./
he said he was told it was a 2.3, but tt did not say so on the valve cover.
some people around here say the only way to fix a 9-5 is to put a 9000 short block in it. I do not know if they are right, but I am tempted a little.
