... yet again another testament to the fact that Saab needs a premium dealer network to go with their 'premium' cars.
Rarely have I come across a dealers as incompetent as Saab dealers. I have had an alternator replaced and the serpentine belt was installed half off the tension pulley - had to argue with the dealer to not only reinstall the belt, but to replace it being their fault. Also had a case where the dealer replaced the plugs but forgot to screw in the DI cassette and left a screw out about 1 inch. Luckily it did not bang against the hood. As the dealer is the only Saab mechanic in Tampa, they have me by the short and curlies... for now.
My Saab is a wonderful car, but the local Saab dealer service is convincing me to buy German next time...
