Diagnosing a no start issue is fairly easy, and I don't quite follow your post. Are you using Scan-Tech pumps or OEM?
Follow this little flow chart if you need more guidance.
No crank? Starter, NSS (if A/T), ignition switch, or battery. Check resistance and ohms/voltage (or in my case just plug in the Tech 2). A/T and cranks? NSS/ignition switch/battery/starter are good. Skip on to the next. Can I hear fuel pump run while cranking? If no, check crank signal from CPS. If yes, spray ether in to the intake, if car doesn't hit, bad DI.
That gets me through 99% of no starters that come in the door.
