Thanks Anders for some advice given a while back. Posted by davids [Email] (#1993) [Profile/Gallery] (more from davids) on Mon, 3 Jun 2013 16:57:21 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I changed my fuel filter today and after installing the new filter i started the car and looked under at the filter to check for leaks and there was a fountain of gas spirting from the banjo fitting. i shut off the car took off the fitting and it had cracked at the end of the barb. I remembered Anders talking about using a flaring tool to reinstall the banjo and i attached the tool to the line and tapped the banjo barb in and it was a slick solution to a possible disaster. Thanks to all of you who give valuable information I try to remember because it will always come in handy. but this is my dilema now it wont start after i fixed it i pushed the shrader valve on the fuel rail gas comes out but not strong could my fuel pump be going bad? I have 169k on the pump. any ideas would be great Thanks
