2) Nope.
3) Not unless you plan to swap ignition key cylinders as well.
The transponder "chip" is not removable in the "all in one" keys. I originally thought that it was part of the keyless entry "guts", but recent talks with my mechanic has us thinking it is sealed in the all-in-one's head someplace.
You can probably get it all to work, but you are still out a cut key that will turn the cylinder in your daughter's car.
