should be 4 screws, and then some potting around the edge to water seal it. just keep prying the top from the back but make sure the top comes straight off or you might bend the pins that come through the top case. The pins are attached to the circuit board on the back and it's screwed down.
Good luck fixing it; I replaced the batteries twice AND the caps, and I still ended up having my local Saab guy (Patterson Performance in Raleigh) just disable the damn thing because it kept going off randomly. I switched the lock/unlock sounds to the horn. Nobody is going to steal a 13yr old car.
