Front end noise...still Posted by Edison517 [Email] (#102) [Profile/Gallery]

So I've replaced pretty much everything in the front suspension, but I still have a noise when I turn the steering wheel either way when stopped. I thought that noise was fixed when replacing my stanchion to subframe bushings, but I still hear some small pops. I'm thinking maybe it's the strut bearings now...They were replaced almost 90k mi ago at 113k.
Is it possible to replace just the strut bearing without taking the strut out? Maybe just disconnect the sway bar and the top 3 nuts, and lower the whole assembly enough to remove/install the bearing?
I'm not a huge fan of suspension work, especially in my driveway.
Thanks!
