Setting Date on SID? Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Sun, 3 Nov 2013 08:25:40 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Stupid question time.
I disconnected the battery on my Viggen CV temporarily to connect a Battery Tender today. Restarted the car and time/date on the SID was effectively midnight on January 1st. I changed the time easily enough but I was not able to change the date - even using the Owner's Manual instructions.
What makes this more infuriating is that I KNOW that I adjusted the date or year shortly after I bought the car in late August.
The manual says to press 'Clear" and the down arrow simultaneously for one second to access the calendar function. My SID doesn't have a down arrow. The '-' symbol is paired with a circle and the '+' symbol is paired with a sideways arrow. Using the unlabeled clock Up and Down doesn't work either.
Obviously a brain fart on my part but what am I missing? Thanks,
