Have had "VIGGEN" plates honoring the aircraft (Saab 37 Viggen - first flight 1967) since long before Saab Cars decided to co-opt the name for a 9-3 model.
I've held the New Jersey "VIGGEN" plate for more than 20 years (Since the late '80s), and I've never used it on a 9-3 nor even an NG 900. Three C900s (an '84, 86 and 86 Convertible), and three of my four 9-5s have worn the plate.
