Approximately $100 for the part and 45 minutes of your time to replace it. You should be able to find lots of detailed instructin on how to replace it.
This sensor is located on the radiator side of the engine block, inline with the crankshaft, and near the face where the tranny bolts to the engine. It is covered by a small squareish heat shield and the single bolt which secures the heat shield also hold the sensor to the block. The dowpipe sort of hides the sensor making the job more difficult.
