I just read three pages of postings from a guy in the UK who installed a set of Nokian Z-line tires on his WRX STi. After 10,000km he was still impressed by these tires, although his tread depth was down to 3-4mm by this point (he admitted to using them on Track Days and drifting so what can one expect).

One perceived problem with this tire is their limited distribution in the US. Even though tiresbyweb.com is located in Michigan all their stores are in the middle or western side of the state. No Dealers close by in case a tire blows out and must be replaced. Then there is the lack of pro-rated warranty by not having a local Dealer.

But again, this is for my summertime fun car. A car that can readily be parked for the few days needed for a new tire to arrive. Price of the Z-line is between the Michelin and Continental choices.
