Yes, also the recent owner of a Viggen CV Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Thu, 20 Mar 2014 17:42:15 In Reply to: Re: I also doubt the rear brace will fit, RBatsch, Thu, 20 Mar 2014 15:51:09 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have been accumulating some pieces over the winter, waiting for warmer weather here in Michigan to install them. Others will be ordered soon since the arctic winter is beginning to finally break. I also bought the left hand poly mount for the steering rack from PowerFlex when I noticed they had a remaining inventory of only 7 in the US.
Did you keep the old strut brace which also screws to the cowl when you added your new "Squid Bar"? Or must the original bar be removed?
My 9-5 Aero barely clears our roll-over curb. My wife's 9-3SC (non-Aero) will only clear the curb with extreme caution. The Viggen is even worse than the 9-3SC and requires almost a 45 degree angled approach. I have read other Viggen owners state the 6-point removes another inch of ground clearance. A Bridjit curb ramp will help prolong the life of bumpers on all our Saabs.
