Sadly leaving the SAAB fold...

A bit bummed... after 12 years of enjoying my 2000 Viggen, I'm selling. And I feel like I'm SELLING OUT!
Got the car in 2002 just off lease... silver, 5 door, my dream car really. Saab is supposed to have "just OK" reliability, but I'm happy to report the Viggen has been incredibly reliable. Kept it stock, no perf mods, so maybe that helped. Really an excellent car in every way. Heck, even the paint job is like glass compared to other factory paints I've seen.
So, why am I selling? I get nervous when mileage gets up there, and it's at about 135k now. So, wanted something with low miles. And, truthfully as much as I love the car, after 12 yrs I guess I was ready for a change.
But it will be sad to see it go. Makes me sick to part with such a special car for was less than 6 grand... seems crazy low, but that's what they're going for.
And so what did I buy? Was leaning toward a GTI but ended up with a 2010 BMW 328i, Sport Package, 6-speed manual, white on chestnut leather. Pretty car and feels rock solid and GLUED to the road. Enjoying it, I just hope it serves my as well as the Saab did.
