I've bled the clutch upwards from the slave towards the master, on the 2001 & also the SS/SC.
I do this first before the brakes, because it pushes dirty fluid into the reservoir. I use my Motive bleeder with a hose that fits directly onto the clutch slave bleed screw. Suck some fluid out of the reservoir to make space.
Fluid enters at the fitting on top of the bellhousing; I add a small amount then close the bleeder. Pump the clutch to mix fresh fluid down into the actual slave cylinder down below the bleed fitting. Repeat that a couple times - blindly assuming that gets fresh fluid down into the slave.
Then suck more fluid out of the reservoir & flush until clean stuff comes into the reservoir.
Then bleed the brakes.
Anders, is there a different "proper" way to get fresh fluid down into the actual slave cylinder?
