Wondering if anyone knows of relevant differences between the DICs I'm considering ordering for my 2003 Convertible 9-3 SE Sport HOT AT, 84K miles. Codes/poor mileage/hickups indicate need for new DIC.
Advanced AutoParts Wells # C1705 seems to be the Good "OE" SEM item on 9-5 board, there is also the E1077 from BWD/INTERMOTOR (same $237.99) which shows as "Exact Replacement" on the AdvAuto website when I entered 2002 9-3SE, Also shows option of Beck/Arnley 178-8418 Exact Replacement at $257.99.
And RockAuto Site shows Airtex/Wells P# of 5C1762 at $236.89 as correct for 2002 9-3SE.
Will the AdvAuto C1705 at ($203 delivered after coupon code) be best choice for my 2003 9-3 SE CONVERTIBLE? NOT paying more for SaaB # 55559955 elsewhere.
--OR, does anyone know if GM dealer (formerly SAAB Dlr. too) will still provide Recall DIC Replacement if it was never done on this car/DIC? '03 Convertible 9-3 SE Sport AT.
