Hello folks -

Been awhile since i have posted as my 9-5 was totaled so I have been Saab-less...we have decided to sell our Alfa Spider to get a 4-seat convertible so the 9-3 Convertible has come to mind.

I became very familiar with the 9-5 and did many bits of preventative maintenance to it (purchased at 80k and totaled at 154k) - CPS, couple of DICs, Serp. belt and tensioner, PCV#6, shocks, struts, synthetic oil every 3K miles, filters, etc. I feel good about knowledge of the 2.3l Turbo in the 9-5, so my question...

The 9-3s we have looked at so far have 2.0l Turbos. What are the differences and, in particular, are the "Known issues" the same - do I have to worry about CPS failure, fuel pump, DIC, and anything else. The cars we are looking at all have about 100-120k miles on them.

My 9-5 was a 5-spd, and we will likely look for an auto in the 9-3---any issues there?
