Where are you located? How many miles on the car?
I had a PS hose pop off after driving over some bad roads, and it was as simple as finding which one and retightening it. At a certain age, the hoses may become cracked or brittle over time. If that's the case, replace it. Shouldn't cost more than $150 installed to bring it back to new. Or you can order the right hose if you can figure out which one is the culprit, from one of our site sponsors. And do it yourself. It's not hard, if you have the time and tools to do it, and it's not dangerous to drive it until you've found it.
See if your friend can eyeball it to see if it's in plain sight: could be as simple as something that got knocked off. But if not, tell us where you're located because there are lots of independent shops that frequent or sponsor this site, and we'd be happy to point you their way.
Welcome to the site by the way! People here are very helpful and love their saabs!
Cheers.
