I sent one batch over to them and they had to replace all piston hafts as well and not only replace the seals due to pitting on the chromed shafts.
They forewarned me about that possibility and they sent the old piston back to me with the pitted parts outlined. That was nice.
They use a stainless steel shaft instead so hopefully that will not happen again.
So now I know if I ever would do that job again but unfortunately, the price tag is beyond what most want to pay for these aging convertibles.
Especially since it is a very likely possibility that one or more of the hydraulic hoses will go bad after wrestling with them while removing the cylinders.
