Hey, thank you both for your help---- I sort of panicked seeing all this B235 "i" stuff listed for that part number, but just like you said Anders, a little more digging and I found there were different numbers Saab used throughout B235 production. I was able to double confirm that the parts I bought (crank, rods, head) were from an 00' 9-5 Aero, so that also explains why these rods look so different compared to the later ones I'd seen, thanks Nick! Really appreciate the help from your shop too, wrote catalog@genuinesaab before seeing this and they got back with me right away about the valves---- in case anyone else finds themselves in a similar situation, can't find the otherr posts that mention this, haha, you can tell if you have the special "R" valves if they have a little dimple in the middle
Needless to say it's a huge relief being sure Ive got the right stuff, thanks again for the help!
