Well I'm starting my first saab adventure. One of the issues I have is the boost valve keeps getting the top blown off every time the turbo goes on hard. Is this normal? When she bought the car, the center hose to the valve was disconnected. So far I have replaced the DIC and plugs, and reset the limp home mode. The CEL is off for the last day now after a reset. I just need to find out if I just need to replace this valve or try to repair it. Does anyone think this may just be a symptom of a larger turbo bypass valve issue.
This is on a 2000 9-3 SE conv.
