Not sure how many of you have seen the supposed 1 owner, 36,000 mile 02 9-3SE on fleabay... I’m thinking about making a solid offer on it but want some input before I do. It’s a nice car but they are asking over twice the KBB, NADA and Edmunds value, their dealer fees are palatable but at the end of the day it’s an 02 9-3 automatic 2.0 even with 36,000 miles its not a collectors car by any means.

Ive hit them with a few questions, how old are the tires, does it have ANY leaks yet, any hidden corrosion or rust as there are no undercarriage pics and it’s a PA car, garaged or not it could be bad. Im looking for a very clean 9-3 or NG900, lower miles the better but was hoping for a 5 speed, though the more I think about it an automatic isn’t that bad since Im not going to be driving it aggressively.

I do understand that KBB, NADA and others are just guides not the set in stone value for any car but I have to be realistic, is it worth 3x blue book and the cost of set value insurance if they would even insure it like that being a 2002…. Any input, thoughts or words of advice? Im ready to buy and can buy it for their asking price today I just don’t feel that its worth it, perhaps twice KBB but no more and even at twice the KBB value I may be a little Saab crazy again and not thinking strait, I could get a heck of a lot of car for almost 12k from newer Saab to a clean lower mile BMW to a like new Mazda 3 s Sport…

Help!

Here is the car:
