Have you replaced the oil pressure sensor? Given the age and miles of the car perhaps its time to replace that part.

I have been using 5-40 weight euro spec oil since I figured that it will help the engine with 200k plus miles. Just a thought.

Are you sure that the car has sludge? Did you have the oil pan dropped and pick up tube cleaned at one point?
