Thankfully, this turned out to be an easy fix. It bothered me that I was hearing a clunk right after having my car serviced (oil pan drop/clean-out).
Thinking through it yesterday, I decided to Google a step-by-step process for dropping the oil pan. When I saw that dropping the sub-frame was involved, I got my hopes up that it was a loose bolt.
Sure enough, the right rear sub-frame bolt was loose. After tightening, the clunk was gone.
LESSON LEARNED: If new sounds/problems surface after you have your car in for repair, it pays to explore how they serviced it and what parts might have been loosened or removed in the process. Go through and tighten everything to the proper torque spec.
