The very first upgrade I did to my Viggen was to install the larger aftermarket intercooler and even with the stock program, the difference was dramatic. I might make the case it reaches 250HP just like the 9-5.
With a 3" turbo-back, I did not get the feeling I gained much more peak power, but spoolup perhaps was improved.
Adding a custom program to the above mods added a major kick, another 50HP seems about right, which would be ~300HP total, matching what the tuning companies claim.
Some further notes:
My mildly modded S4 has a virtually identical power to weight ratio as the Viggen: ~300HP/3,000lbs vs. ~385HP/3,850lbs. However, they both dyno about the same wheel HP: ~270HP. So in the real world, the Viggen is much faster, assuming it can find the traction...
