Rearward vision in the 'vert when the top is raised is almost blind. I got a sales flyer from Crutchfield yesterday and spotted rear view cameras that can be incorporated into your license plate frame to be inconspicuous. On their web site today I saw they also have wireless systems in which the monitor clips onto the standard rearview mirror.
They require 12V to the camera (from the trunk light maybe), and 12V to the monitor (from an OH console power lead?), but no interconnecting video or signal cable. They sound like a great way to achieve rearward vision when the top is raised.
Anyone have someting similar installed?
