Hi Anders:
Thanks for posting back. The pins were pushed out but I lowered the H16 connector and pushed in the pins and connected the Tech 2 and made sure the pins were all connected. I also confirmed all pins are in the correct spot based on the colors in WIS. The Tech 2 is a clone but I have used it successfully with 07 9-5 Aero, 03 9-5 Linear, 04 9-3 Vert, 07 9-3, and 08 9-5. Never tried anything this old before. I do get all of the menus for Engine, Transmission, Chassis, and Body but what it does is says communicating with the little clock and it just sits there and does nothing. If I select I think Body and then select specifically Airbag it tries and then gives me a link error after a few moments rather than the clock. I did some various self tests with the Tech 2 and came back fine. Is there a way to test the connection between the Tech 2 and the car to help me troubleshoot the problem.
Thanks for your help. I have done a good amount of work to the car (the changing of the alternator was fun :)!) I have a check engine light that I am trying to determine.
Sam
