fluids seeping from seals

Hi all -
i took my '95 convertible off the road nearly two years ago to replace the clutch. It's sat up on stands in my garage since June 2104. I've been dismantling things bit by bit over time, and today i finally decided to get on it again. But, before i go further....
I noticed liquid seeping from between the transmission and bell housing, around the oil filter and at other spots. I think some coolant (orange), and oil. Question is: by sitting so long, have various seals shrunk and begun leaking? So when finally reassemble and try to start it up, will I have bigger leaks?
The bigger question, i guess, is: is it worth the time to get it going again? I had bought the clutch and didn't really anticipate much more...this is my summer beater, top is toast, leaking oil pump/seal anyway. But i figured i'd futz with it over time and get it going. Engine seals going would probably be a deal breaker.
I'd appreciate any advice!
(it did run alright before i took it off the road.)
