ACC woes. Need Help Posted by 2 Saabs [Email] (#765) [Profile/Gallery] (more from 2 Saabs) on Thu, 2 Jun 2016 10:30:46 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Since no one was answering my earlier post, I'll try again. The ACC was cycling between auto and off just as fast as it could go. I took the car into the shop and Freon level was good but they pulled code B2495 - Mixed-Air Damper Stepping Motor - Loose Damper. As long as you run the fan on very low, the a/c system runs but as soon as you run the fan up, the ACC cycles auto / off. I've pulled the stepping motor behind the ACC and it seems ok. It will rotate on calibration (not attached to control shaft) and no codes. With the stepping motor out I get B2400 which makes sense since the motor is removed. Is the stepping motor bad, can it be fixed or do I have to maybe dig deep into the duct work to get to a loose damper? Is there another motor that could be drawing too much and the ACC shuts itself down? Anyone dealt with this?
