and I'm still unsure. It seems like from the post, pedal feel will not change because the hose is unlikely or won't flex unless the pedal is fully locked. But you're saying it will make it tighter? What's the cause of that?
As mentioned I'll have to remove the calipers to replaces the torn piston boots so this would be the time to do it. I don't track the car and I'm actually very pleased with the responsiveness of the brakes.
