Intermittent Air from Center Vent Posted by Tulsaab [Email] (#31) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Tulsaab) on Mon, 3 Oct 2016 20:27:45 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Here's a strange one for you...'99 9-3 Viggen.
In the past few days, i've noticed that while my ACC is on and the arrow is pointed to the center, I haven't been getting any air out of the center vents. It's blowing at my feet. If I press the button to defrost, and then to the center vents again, it eventually winds up there after about 10 seconds. Since then, when i start the car in the mornings, sometimes it's blowing at my face, and sometimes it isn't. Fortunately the defrost trick seems to keep it going.
It did this once before in the summer (on a very hot day, of course), but when I started it up the next morning everything was normal. hasn't happened since.
I've tried a few different ACCs (thanks Pull-a-part!) and it's been consistent with all of them.
Anyone have any thoughts?
