Hi Brick8,
My Saab user manual says "Don’t operate the soft top in temperatures below 23°F (-5°C)", but I think it depends on weather situation and the interior temperature of the Saab.
When the Saab has been parked outside in winter temperatures and the soft top canvas and window sealings are really cold and therefore less flexible, personally I will not open or close the soft top of our convertible.
But in the case when the Saab has parked inside a garage or the interior is warm (heated), the soft top canvas, window sealings and hydraulic system are more flexible and therefore the soft top can be (in my opinion) opened an closed without problems. Of course only open in this case the soft top when there is no snow, ice or water on it and when the engine of the car is running as the battery needs fresh electricity in cold weather conditions ;)
Best regards,
Dennis
