Tire swap fixed pull Posted by SPG Jr [Email] (#1830) [Profile/Gallery] (more from SPG Jr) on Mon, 26 Jun 2017 16:57:38 In Reply to: Re: Viggen alignment issues, toe went out of spec in 300 miles (long), Viggener [Profile/Gallery] , Wed, 21 Jun 2017 15:34:51 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Not sure what the problem is with the wheel or tire, but the right front was the culprit. Some P7s have directional treads that are different on the inside and outside halves, but mine have the same tread pattern across the entire tread. After swapping, the car pulled hard to the left. Possibly even worse than it pulled right. So I moved the tire originally on right front to the right rear, right rear to right front and viola, tracks perfectly now.
So I don't know if that's what also threw the car out of alignment so quickly, but this has pleased as I've been driving that car in a long time.
