To get to the drain plug, I drove the tire onto a small ramp, so I could get in down there.
I need the car to be level for me to use the check plug. For that, I can see using four equally-sized ramps on all four wheels to raise the car. Unless I have that, I can't get in under the Viggen front bumper to easily access the check plug. I tried removing the wheel, but then in order to have it level...I'd have to lower the car with the jack to "dangerously low levels" with the jack without the wheel on. This felt too risky to do.
So, how do you do this, then? It certainly doesn't look so easy to do this.
And if I choose to not do this, would the amount I described be safe?
