2.5 catback on a Stock turbo is great.

If you are fitting a Gt30 and making say 400whp then It starts to become a restriction. Still have quite a few of those cars out there. Dyno plots somewhere too back it up. Always good to have data rather than an opinion or a sample size of 1.. I bought my own dyno in -06 just to have unlimited access to the Data..

On my High Compression Gtx30 2.3 running the 60mm remus is a bit of a restriction. The wastegate opens further to manage the boost and the added backpressure increases knock sensitivity.

I recently added a third 2.5" muffler inline with a bypass valve that runs full 3" Big muffler and large resonator. It hurts it about 70whp at 425whp with just the 3" With the third muffler inlne its as quiet as a stock car.
