I like bling that's functional. On my Viggen, I had the valve cover powder coated to match the car's color (red), with the word Viggen and the stripes on the valve cover still bare metal. I really like it. It prevents the flaking of the paint that eventually occurs.
Other bling ideas would be colored silicon vacuum hoses, which last longer than rubber. If I can get my act together, I'm going to get one of those silicon intercooler hose kits:

Other ideas: Stainless hose clamps, so they stay shiny, silicon coolant hose kit:

And finally, Jet-Hot ceramic coating (http://www.jet-hot.com). I did this for the exhaust and intake manifolds on my 9000T, and it held up pretty well. I got their light beige color and wish I'd gone with silver. You can do your turbo with this if you disassemble it for them.
