I went aftermarket route when i did mine 2 years ago. I only replaced battery-to-pump which is easier (so I hear) than all the way to the firewall. I only needed to pull the bumper off and left the cooling system in place. Getting the routing under the intercooler and A/C hoses to the pump was the worst part and had to bend the mounting bracket for the pump 90 degrees to line up with pump bolt. Did most of my work from the underside of the bumper.
Good luck!
