Part number #5122551

Parts diagrams are lousy at identifying exactly where and how this part is attached. I am guessing it connects to the lower edge of the front fascia/bumper and forces air which enters through the lower grille opening to flow through the intercooler and radiator rather than flowing beneath the car. Held in place by a 6-8 push-pin rivets as those are shown on the Parts diagrams.

If that is where this part attaches, my 2000 Viggen is missing this part. Not too hard to believe since the car was missing the LH under car front shield (Viggen specific part) and the LH front inner fender was shattered!

I need one front side light lamp socket for the wife's '06 9-3 and was floored by its price! Over $20! I can get a Pro-Parts for under $4, and while ordering that part I may as well order this missing shield too. At least I think it is missing.....

I will check the local Pick-n-Pull lot too for this light socket. That is where I got the inner fender for my Viggen. The non-Viggen part I pulled fit perfectly after drilling one additional mounting hole for some Viggen specific trim.
