This list has been a valuable resource for getting my top mostly working (recently acquired 2000 93). The fluid was way low and I had to add maybe 300 mL and burp the lines and cylinders repeatedly. It now retracts! It now goes back up- mostly. The fifth bow adamantly refuses to lay back down in the final act unless I open the release valve and usher it back down by hand, reclose the valve and operate the switch again to complete the relocking sequence. (BTW, no messages ever appear on my SID. And yes, fuses were checked.)

I'm thinking a solenoid valve (#1?) or a microswitch. It is still mostly winter here but I do get rare windows of opportunity for quick testing. Any suggestions for identifying the culprit without major disassembly? TIA
