After a truly brutal January and February with constant temps in the -20's my 2000 Viggen needs some work.
The emergency brake cable snapped somewhere which my mechanic is going to investigate this week.
My rear brakes are very rusty - does anyone know a source for slotted and cross drilled rotors for these cars?
while driving to work in the AM through our residential area at about 1800 RPM the Viggen starts to sing a high pitched whine that is reminiscent of a jet engine (the very upper register that is) that if i modulate the gas pedal will fall in tone but won't go any higher than a particular pitch. it is quite loud too! So wondering if anyone else has experience that.
Also have used Pixelfix to repair the LCD screen on a couple of my ACC modules but now need to locate light bulbs to illuminate the two right rows of buttons. Any suggestions on source and specification is much appreciated. i am now an expert and disassembly on those units but didnt check the bulbs while i had them apart...
