Hello,
I believe you will find 2 potential hints in the VIN. The 8th digit will be a G for the engine and the 11th digit which will be a 7 for the plant the car was made in. The other possible clues are the body itself. In 1999 Viggen's were very low production and all were 3 door cars in lightning blue. In 2000, 2001 and 2002 they could be found as 3 door, 5 door or convertibles. There should be another hint in the vin as all were 5 speed manual transmissions but I forget which position that is.
