Viggen convertible upgrades? Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Wed, 24 Apr 2019 16:27:47 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have owned my Viggen 'vert for 5-1/2 years and have installed the steering rack brace, the larger rear sway bar, and the urethane transmission mount. I was finally able to convince my wife we needed a Bridgit ramp for the roll-over curb at the end of our driveway, so now I have the additional ground clearance to install a much needed 6-Point Sub-Frame Brace.
Is there any advantage to a different Strut Tower Brace? And what is the likely cause of the gawd awful bang and vibration when I hit even a small bump with both front wheels simultaneously? Bumps with a single wheel or with both wheels staggered are fine. Both wheels at the same time sounds and feels as if the car will come apart!
