These Saab's are fairly low revvers', I end up hitting the rev limiter in first and second gear a couple of times a month (but not when I'm autocrossing it!?). From my experience, the ECU takes care of the boost, I just need to watch the redline. I floor it, the needle goes up into the red (in third gear or higher), then drops back to the edge of the red, all without my changing throttle position. If you're getting a limiter stutter without hitting just over 6000 rpm, you might want to have the dealer take a look at the car. If that's the case, then something isn't controlling boost properly.
