Hearn's Cycling in Asheville, NC has old (used) Yakima and Thule bars and feet available. Hearn's has been in business since 1896-oldest bicycle shop in USA. I was under the impression that you could hard mount a rack into the roof of a NG 900. I have experience with 9000s and 9-3SS' which both have hard points built in. I do have a NG 9-3SS Thule rack if that would work?? Not sure. I will take a look at my Viggen this evening if its the same. For the 9000 rack, I used a modified Yakima gutter foot attached to a fabricated steel "clip" bolted into the car's roof. This allowed the use of the round bars from Yakima and the superior looking, at the time, Yakima accessories which included a plug in bicycle work stand (plugged into the round bar) for the "Saab Team" car look. I actually saw the Saab bicycle racing team car while I was attending one of the bicycle shows in California-it was a custom built rack and hard mounted-really cool.
