FYI. I got the shear pin from saabpartscounter.com . There was enough room to tap the new one most of the way in from the back with just a regular hammer. I initially tired with a small hammer, but it did not have enough momentum to push it in at all, so used a full size hammer. Even thought i could not swing it far, I was able to tap it most of the way in. I just a C-clamp to get it completely in.
