but ICE computer underneath driver left foot was OK. If NTC heat sensor on left side of cylinder head goes bad, radiator fan and temperature gauge on instrument cluster won't work. NTC sensor wires tend to break off, since they have no strain relief to support them. The OG 9-3 changed sensor design and wire harness to eliminate this. One NG900 I encountered had a small gauge wire that ran from ICE to low speed radiator fan relay coil with an open circuit, so relay never operated. Running a new wire fixed this. Biggest problem is burnout of high wattage resistor on radiator fan cowl, which causes low speed fan circuit failure.
