Ok, those are good things to know. So would you say buying an old instrument is a bad idea since it might have the same issue? Is it instead a better idea to try like some other Saab owners here in Sweden to resolder the circuit boards in the MIU, or is it a failing chip/component that probably is broken? Reprogramming a brand new unit sounds a bit difficult.
