Hi Juan,
This isn't really an answer to your questions, but I was looking at the cooling system stuff in the EPC. I saw there were different wattage ratings for different years/models/markets of cars. If you have one of the lower rated ones, perhaps a higher rated fan would help keep you cool in future with less stress?
The following list is for the '94-'98 900. Some of the numbers also apply to the '98-'03 9-3.

Usage : M, CA, EU, GB, SE, 160W
Fan motor and blade are available only as factory balanced assembly.

5) Article : Fan unit - motor & blade
